i remember when Tupac was pronounced dead. I remember I cried like a baby. I also cried when Biggie and Aaliyah passed as well. My childhood plays out to Tupac's greatest hits. I remember watching the movie Juice and Poetic Justice and thinking my God...he is a fine fine man. So when I came across this top at Forever 21 I had to get it. Poetic Justice though...that was my MOVIE!
Top: Forever 21 | Skirt: H&M | Shoes: Sole Society | Sunnies: Spitfire
GET THE LOOK
since the top is so hard (excuse the pun), I paired it with the frilliest thing I have which is this tulle skirt from H&M that I've had for a few years. You can see it worn similarly here. speaking of movies, I have been on a movie kick. Mostly because my beau hasn't seen any of my classic favorites. He's not American. Anywho over the past two weeks alone we've watch Brown Sugar, Coming to America and Boomerang an I'm happy he loved them all....especially Coming to America. Now I just have to tackle to Disney movie classics.
Oh wow I love that skirt! xx

ReplyDeleteLove the look! Great shirt---Tupac is my favorite artist. I too cried my eyes out when he passed. A lot of musical greats were in the 90's.

Perfect skirt, I was never a big Tupac fan, but I still loved him because he was super passionate about what he believed in but I LOVED him in poetic justice! Probably because I was obsessed with janet Jackson at that age too.
