what im starting to do is mix more textures within outfits. I find that its more visually stimulating to look at, especially when I see it done on other fashion blogs that I love. here I went with a linen striped jacket, a yarn like top, denim shorts and canvas heels and bag.

also glad I finally got to wear my new Zara heels that I scored for $19.99 at the Zara sale. they are actually pretty freakin comfortable too. although I do love this dark lippy im in the mood for a deep deep vampire red one. a trip to Sephora is in the works soon.

retro denim shorts



I admit it I am highly obsessed with these retro high waisted shorts from American Apparel. I get the same kinda vibe I get with these shorts I scored thrifting. I really didn't want to shell out the money for these shorts because they are hella expensive for shorts. But I made the mistake of trying them on and they fit perfectly. You know when you find that perfect fit, the cost of something suddenly doesn't seem so bad. They are my "investment" shorts! I've definitely worn them a good 5-10 times since I bought them less than 2 weeks ago.

i almost forgot I had these amazing heels from Zara until I cleaned out my closet! Speaking of which I'm selling a few shoes at my shop so check it out! Anywho these shoes are reminiscent of the Prada sandals that where everywhere last year. These heels have got to be one of the most comfy pair I have. By the way, Zara is having THE BEST SALE right now and I just scored a bucket load of Fashion Steele's!

the perfect white sandal

excuse me for wearing the hell out of the stripe Zara oversized linen blazer. simply put it is my new go-to jacket to make any outfit go from ordinary to extraordinary lol. I instagramed this outfit a few days ago but haven't worn it until now. it was the first outfit that popped into my mind when i got these Alexander Wang White heels from a sale on THEOUTNET.com

ummm can I just say how say how super excited I am about these shoes. i'd been searching for the lizard print version but lost the bid on ebay and then these popped up on THEOUTNET.com and I couldn't resist. I now have a small army of alexander wang footwear. it is my very guilty pleasure and atleast these were 60% off! Fashion STEELE! I will now proceed to wearing them in every other post this summer. did you peek that side boob? im never wearing this top without a jacket!
