Synderela

I first learned of Synderela last year while visiting the Caravan Studio. At that preview I picked up this gorgeous red dress. So it was high time I visited the Synderela showroom and see what they currently have in store! Set right in the heart of the fashion district and literally right across from Mood it was a dress girls heaven on earth!

I also picked up a great dress for the Red Dress Collection Fashion Show!
huge thanks to Susan for inviting me.

DANA-MAXX SS2013 Showroom

tis' showroom and press preview season! i first learned of Dana-Maxx through Linkedin connections. (remember me telling you the importance and power of Linkedin here). we finally met on my trip to Caravan Studios a few months back where she had a few fabulous DANA-MAXX pieces to preview. I was lucky enough to score an invite to their recent press preview for their Spring/Summer 2013 collections at their showroom. Definitely a cozy room of florals, pastels and intricate crochet that i died and came back to life for in hope to one day wear.
This crochet bralet top and matching skirt was definitely my favorite of the collection. i even love the little suspender to connect the top to the skirt...PURE GENIUS.
These floral shorts were another favorite of mine. Dana below looking as fabulous as ever!
Overall i really enjoyed the collections. it makes me long for Spring. Make sure to check out

What do you think of the collection?

Catherine Malandrino Showroom

last week i had the opportunity to visit the Catherine Malandrino Showroom to view the Spring 2013 Collection up close and personal. It was great to see the pieces again and get to actually feel the fabrics and see the details up close. You can check out my coverage of the
Catherine Malandrino Spring 2013 Presentation during New York Fashion Week HERE. What I love about visiting showrooms is also seeing the decor and the designers work environment. Out of the many showrooms I've visited this was one of my favorites.
Once you step off the elevators you are greeted with a bright yellow glass wall and to the left a film projected on to the wall. It definitely set the tone before entering the lavish showroom full of intimate portraits on the walls and racks upon racks of equisitely tailored works of art. It didn't hurt to have the large windows exposing the New York City building skyline as a perfect back drop.

The Spring/Summer 2013 Collection was inspired with a them of French romance and American sportswear. The romantic them is obvious in the materials used in the collection such as delicate mesh as well as the victorian style blouses.
Catherine Malandrino is one designer who has got edgy prettiness down to a science. Case in point this gorgeous studded leather jacket with the thinest palest leather ever. I've been told its the favorite of the collection and its mine too!

What do you think about the Catherine Malandrino SS2013 Collection?

Australia Fashion Week

i am a huge fashion week buff so when Bui-Lavry PR contacted me
about a blogger preview of some hot Australian designers I hopped, skipped and jumped
literally to see whats happening in the Australian Fashion Scene.
Of course I can't go in person to Australia Fashion Week which is from April 30-May4th
but I atleast got to see some awesome designers, pull some looks, and even style some of the pieces.

Here are a few items I pulled from the racks.
Shorts: White Suede by Jacqui Demkiw

I am totally smitten with this white lace jumper.
I need to have this in my life!

I pulled a lot of whites and soft colors along with tons of long dresses and jumpsuits.
I guess thats the trend right now or just the kind of mood I'm in.
 Loving this Talulah dress.
Talulah, White Suede, Oscar the Third and Goddess of Babylon were among my favorites.
Goddess of Babylon's long white wrap maxi dress stole my heart, Oscar the Third had the most amazing jumpers and flowy dresses and Talulah was just my style!
stayed tuned to see how I styled a few of these amazing Australian designers.
i will definitely keep my eyes open for the looks online.
