Malik Williams "The Stylist" hosted a fantastic event at the W Hotel last night in NYC. I went with my friends Sheena and Stephanie. It was great to mingle and network with lots of people in the industry. There were tons of stylist, up and coming designers and models. The atmosphere was Fashion Chic to the bone and I enjoyed myself. The highlight of my night was discovering that on the 7th Floor of the W Hotel Times Square lies a boutique giftshop. Now this wasn't just any old gift shop. This boutique was filled with designer one of a kind jewelry, dolce vita, BB dakota and just a mind boggling amount of cocktail rings. Of course I couldn't leave without buying something!
Me, Sheena and Stephanie
Stephanie with designers Brucling and Robot. They design an awesome line of bow-ties. Check them out www.robotandbrucling.com
The space was very creative with large blown up model photography, a runway show being played on a wall, soft lighting, and just a plethora of fashion!
As soon as I walked through this store...(I was told by a worker of the venue that I had to walk through a store to get to the bathroom) I was in retail heaven! I didn't make it to the bathroom until I wanted to try on a dress!
Sheena looking around at all the great merchandise in the store. My good friend Sheena is rocking a thrifted dress. I love her style btw. She's a real thrifting fashionista.
Super happy I finally got to wear my Mango earrings!
My goody bag from The W Store. So check out the cool stuff I bought at the W Hotel Times Square (7th Floor)
This gorgeous necklace by Tuleste and the Dolce Vita Macie shorts. I can't wait to wear these in the Spring!

So far this Fashion Week has been nonstop for me. I've barely slept the past 3 days. I'm super tired and I'm going to try to get a nap in at some point this evening because tonight I'm partying at Griffin. Tomorrow is another fashion show and Monday I'm going to claim some free gifts I received at IFB Conference (Stay tuned for my gift bag post). Monday I'm also maybe (crossing my fingers) going to get some access to the shows at Lincoln Center. OMG!!! So what do you all think of my purchases?
XOXO
