NEW IN: Quilted Black Leather Jacket

yes...anything quilted please. ever since I scooped up this quilted Missoni skirt from Loehmanns...I've been on the hunt for a quilted jacket. As if I need another black jacket but I couldn't contain myself. While doing some personal shopping for a client at Century 21 last week I came across this beauty! And its from one of my favorite lines P. Luca. It fits perfectly, looks stylish and is super warm. It was also less than $60, a definite fashion STEELE in my book!

i've been looking for the perfect sweatshirt for awhile now being that sweatshirts and sports gear in general is making a huge comeback. i've seen fashionista's rock them with intricate belle skirts and heels as well as boyfriend jeans and booties. there are so many ways to dress up a sweatshirt especially one like this one. i ordered this from ASOS and have been wearing it non stop since. i've dressed it up and dressed it down. here i decided to go out onto the basketball court and try my hand at some athletic moves...lol.

i used to run track and was a member on the varsity cheerleading squad in high school.

i still got it...i think. lol. this sweatshirt is super warm and i love the color. i remember back in middle school when i was somewhat of a tomboy...i would only wear shell toe adidas!

the shoppers holiday...

this past weekend i was super casual for a little thrifting excursion.

i hit up my favorite spot Beacon's Closet to pick out a nice Thanksgiving dress.

i wanted something vintage, a dress of course with a bright pop of color. i ended up picking up the perfect dress and for only $12! while out my photog and I grabbed some Pinkberry. my absolute favorite is the original with pomegranate, coconut and a drizzle of honey. while in the west village we stopped and took a few photos. i swear one day i want to live on Perry St.

im on my way to my home town in North Carolina and can't wait to hang out with my family...and eat all the things i miss about southern food! i also can't wait for all the Black Friday Sales! its a shoppers holiday! while at home i plan on hitting up Best Buy (i want a new lens for my camera) and Nordstroms (new shoes of course lol).

Leather and Fur

I've been craving these leather pants from TopShop for the longest and they finally went on sale so I snatched them up. They are not the most comfortable pants but no one said fashion was comfortable! These photos were actually taken a few weeks ago when the snow was killing NYC residents and causing massive amounts of "cabin fever". So glad its finally getting a little warmer but still cold enough for faux fur!

All this snow has nowhere to go but now it is slowly melting! I can almost smell Spring.

So I love the look of these pants but they are definitely only meant for Fall or Winter. On a hotter day these bad boys would kill my mood. LOL. So March is right around the corner.
Do any of you have vacation plans???
 I'm thinking of taking a quick trip home to North Carolina to visit the family! Flights have really been cheap lately. Tomorrow I'm going to a fashion show by handbag designer Avril Lemieuxer who is just a sweetheart. I was actually asked to model for the show but couldn't due to my work schedule (yes I was highly disappointed). It all came down to me not being able to make the run/walk-through time. I will still be able to attend the show later tomorrow evening! Can't wait to see what she has in store. Stay tuned for photos!
