after watching Carrie Bradshaw prance around in her large bag like DVF dresses in SATC2

i've been looking for something similar with less of a pricetag.

enter this awesome zebra print dress from Mango that I picked up while in Barcelona.

i love the way it fits! just barely skimming my upper body and flaring out.

these sunglasses are so retro! i got them during my last visit to the Brooklyn Flea Market for only $10 fashion STEELE! I am a sucker for a unique pair of sunglasses. Check out my sunglasses collection here to see what i mean! i plan to add these and these sunnies to my collection soon! i like that the print on this dress is so simple and pretty neutral so i wanted to spice it up a bit with the neon H&M sandals. this is actually my first zebra print item in my wardrobe! whenever i need fashion inspiration i just pop in Sex and the City (either movie) and I am filled with outfit inspiration.
ps..dont you hate it when your photog doesn't tell you your strap is showing....grrrr #fashionbloggerproblems

I may be a little biased but Sex and the City is the best show ever made!

I have the DVD collection and on days like today I like to curl up with a hot chocolate

and pop in my favorite season 5!

Today is the New York City Marathon and it's so inspirational to watch all the runners on the news.

 It got me to thinking about the reason I moved to New York. Honestly is was SATC. That show really resonated with me but what really caught my heart was the 5th biggest character in the show New York City.

I always felt like I belonged here and I made it my business to get here and now that I am here it feels like home.

 Anywho enough with the mushy stuff...lets get to some of my favorite Carrie Bradshaw ensembles!

Old Carrie, New Carrie, Movie Carrie...I could care less this is one STYLISH lady!

I can only hope that one day my closet and collection of shoes will be a freakin EPIC

as Carrie Bradshaw's.

Whenever I need a little outfit inspiration I just pop in a SATC DVD and VOILA..I'm full of ideas.
