Inspired by Carrie Bradshaw


I may be a little biased but Sex and the City is the best show ever made!
I have the DVD collection and on days like today I like to curl up with a hot chocolate
and pop in my favorite season 5!
Today is the New York City Marathon and it's so inspirational to watch all the runners on the news.
 It got me to thinking about the reason I moved to New York. Honestly is was SATC. That show really resonated with me but what really caught my heart was the 5th biggest character in the show New York City.
I always felt like I belonged here and I made it my business to get here and now that I am here it feels like home.
 Anywho enough with the mushy stuff...lets get to some of my favorite Carrie Bradshaw ensembles!












Old Carrie, New Carrie, Movie Carrie...I could care less this is one STYLISH lady!
I can only hope that one day my closet and collection of shoes will be a freakin EPIC
as Carrie Bradshaw's.
Whenever I need a little outfit inspiration I just pop in a SATC DVD and VOILA..I'm full of ideas.

Is anyone else a HUGE SATC fan?
If so what are your favorite episodes and what inspires you???

I have too many to list but season 4-5 are among my favorites.

    I could´nt agree more with you, and most women want to be Carrie. In my opinion due to the fact that she is not perfect but her style makes us forget the rest.It is not a matter of having clothes but how you mix them.
    To me the 4 first seasons were the best, before getting into Dior and Oscar de la Renta.

    Omg what female doesn't love her!! I love her and SJP. I love that you posted the pic of her in the movie with the pink dress. I remember having my mouth drop to the ground when I saw that belt and the pockets in that outfit...love her!

    And I agree with Kimberlee. Your shoe collection IS becoming epic! :)

    Season 1 and Season 5 I like! I know what you mean. So effortless.


    What is really amazing was one of the photos you have I remember it from the shoe party that her Manolos were stolen from her. That outfit she was walking in the end was so carefree and amazing. One of reason I love ny as well. Such an inspiration.

    I like Carrie like the rest of you, I just feel she has questionable taste. She fooled like a fool more often than stylish but I do admire her bravery.

    I like dabbling in old episodes from time to time but recently, I never really realized how very annoying Carrie and Miranda could be hehehe! Would kill for that closet and the apartment Big bought them in the first movie (second apt. wasn't too shabby either)

    I am such a huge fan! I love the fearless clothes especially the super naked sexy delicates. I love all the episodes minus anything with Burger. But I adore her short hair summer look when she was preggers!
