More about Monroe

So I've been getting a few questions about my new look. If you havent noticed I "grew" about 12 inches of hair over Christmas/New Years Break lol.

So I actually got some extensions in my hair over the holiday. Its getting pretty cold in NYC and its quite hard to maintain my short curly do while wearing a hat everyday to keep out the cold. I constantly had hat hair and had to do something about it quick, atleast till it warms up a little.

It came out really great and I get tons of compliments on it. I was at first skeptical to get extensions but it turned out to be pretty awesome and i no longer have the problem of hat hair! Yay! The hair looks very natural and is called "King Yaki" for those who are interested.

My love for cocktail rings and large earrings has hit an all time high. So much so that I had to buy a new jewelry display. I got this awesome one from Marshalls one of my favorite stores

I also have aquired a few blogger pet peeves. Actually just 2 blogger pet peeves.

AUTOMATIC MUSIC

I hate blogs with automatic music. Now everyone has their own style and musical taste and your blog is just that, your space to do what ever the hell you want to do but I hate automatic music. I endure it to comment on some of my favorite blogs. But when I click I just wanna scroll and read and let the words im reading fill my head with my own voice. But when im assaulted by harsh music I feel violated and very quickly want to leave without commenting or frantically find the button to turn that music off. In my blog...music will always be optional.

CUT/COPY AND PASTED COMMENTS

I also have another peeve...and that is cut/copy and pasting comments to various blogs. I have noticed a few followers that do this and I find it to be kinda fake. Followers usually run in the same circles or read the same blogs and its kinda disgusting and unoriginal when I see a comment over and over again each day on the same blog. Its not the way to get followers...its just wrong!

There thats my little rant and im done lol.

Also I'm super excited for one of my favorite shows to make its debut back on the air since being canceled 2 years ago..yes

"The Game"

The past 2 episodes have been awesome and I can't wait for thise weeks episode!

I cant now wait. New episodes start January 11th, 2011 on BET 10 pm ET. Yay.

So what is your favorite show and perhaps some of your blogger pet peeves? My favorite show of all time was Girlfriends which has since gone of the air. I also love The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Keeping up with the Kardashians, The Game, Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, King of Queens(Yes I have seen every freaking episode) and of course all the oldies but goodies such as Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Martin, Dave Chappelle Show.
