I'm currently en route to North Carolina! Home sweet home. Here's a what I packed. I tried to bring a minimum of pieces that I can mix and match. I'm only going to be home for a few days but I look forward to the hot (yes HOT) weather, sweet tea, family visits and all the southern food my aunt can cook. YAY Me! Loving these gold lame shorts I scored at Loehmann's for less than $20.

This skirt was a score at Loehmanns that I have been loving! I recently wore it to see The Great Gatsby since it has that kinda feel to me. A great sweater is great for those cool nights when you don't want to wear a jacket or to throw over a dress (like the one below).

This is one of my favorites dresses because its so easy. It doesn't wrinkle and its super comfortable. A great statement necklace can spice up any of the looks too.

i feel like Lisa Bonet

I was and still am a huge Cosby Show fan. I fell uber inlove with Lisa Bonet because of that show. Seriously she was my girl crush of all girl crushes. I've since followed her career and am now kinda obsessed with Zoe Kravitz her daughter with rocker Lenny Kravitz (who is sooo devastatingly handsome). I actually saw Zoe during this past New York Fashion Week! Anywho back to Lisa...I feel a lot more bohemian with this new hairstyle. I was all set to cut all of it off in a shorter due when last minute, because my appointment time didn't work out, I ended up following an African lady on 125th Street in Harlem, to basically a sweatshop of a braiding salon complete with prayer rugs for all those who were observant Muslims and pan handlers with everything from gold earrings, to chocolate to MAC cosmetics. 2.5 hours later and voila...

yeah i joined the INSTAGRAM movement

i didn't really understand all the hype...of instagram until it finally came out for android.

now my world has been rocked because I freakin live on Instagram.

It's totally taken over my twitter obsession too.

Here's a peek into my life is cool vintage looking photos.

This has pretty much been the past 2 weeks. Admiring shoes, hanging out in Central Park, street fairs, reworking my inspiration board, and eating. My favorite meal right now is the Chicken Pesto Salad at Republic in Union Square. It is flavorful, healthy, refreshing and just freaking DELISH! Running to GW Bridge, new products in my arsenal, memorial day, my fav dress and waiting for the bus....lol. Wanna see more of my life in awesome vintage looking phone photos???
