Ain't Laurent without Yves

I am a huge YSL fan. And yes...it's weird without that "Y". I bought my first pair of YSL's in 2011 and have worn the hell out of them. They are just the perfect classic pump and I will love them forever. When I saw this tee in Urban Outfitters I had to have it. I have since worn it about a million and one times including on a date night with my beau to Benihana's while wearing my YSL's.

GET THE LOOK

thanks to everyone on instagram who told me to get these camo jeans! I'm telling you Forever 21 has been surprising me a lot lately. Fun fact: I used to work at Forever 21 (the huge one in Union Square). I must say...I met some awesome people but I still cringe when I think of the late nights I spent re-organizing sections of the store only to see them destroyed again the next day. Anywho these jeans are the perfect fit (yall know how hard it is to find the perfect fitting jeans) and they are perfect shade of camouflage. I love how the red wangs pop against the camouflage too. Kinda unexpected but somehow it all works. I'm on a printed tee kick right now. I'm even having some made...especially for fashion week! Yes, its right around the corner and although I'm gonna try to take it easy this season I'm already getting butterflies. First comes New York...then comes Paris! Eeeek!

the white blazer

I have been looking for a white blazer for awhile and I came across this Elizabeth and James Blazer on sale I couldn't resist. It will be perfection for Spring and Summer. I plan on pairing it with everything from skirts to boyfriend jeans to dresses!

GET THE LOOK

I love the way these photos came out. We actually shot these inside of a band shell at a park. It was really cool being the lone person inside this huge dome. This blazer is a definite new favorite in my wardrobe and i can't wait till the weather warms up so I can rock it with everything. I also took my L.A.M.B. oxleys for a spin. I had been drooling over them for months and when I found them for 50% off I couldn't resist.

camouflage jeans

I love these jeans. I cannot tell a lie I wear them like twice a week. They were a pair of jeans I got when I did my True to Size Jeans Challenge. They are 7 jeans and the print is just awesome. if you follow me on instagram (@monroesteele) you may have seen me rocking these with my favorite wedge sneakers. They are the perfect fit and right on trend too.

GET THE LOOK

Lately I've been crushing hard on camouflage looks...better yet...my inner tomboy has been coming out. I loved everything from the FRONTROW Collection which had a tomboy look to it. I've been rocking a lot of hoodies, sweatshirts, denim and wedge sneakers lately. It's a little out of the norm for me but its so darn comfortable. I also like how Rihanna is pulling off the tomboy look lately and am looking forward to seeing the pieces from her collaboration with River Island. I hear its chalk full of tomboy goodies!
