Fashion Steele of the Week Oct 3

So here is my Fashion Steele of the Week for Oct 3
fresh off my visit to the new Century 21 in Licoln Square in NYC...
check it out and see what I scored!

I've been frequenting the Century 21 in downtown NYC for awhile. There are definitely some
 pros and cons for each.

New Century 21 Lincoln Square vs Century 21 Downtown
  1. Size Matters : The new Century 21 is A LOT smaller than the one downtown. Thus when I went it was really hard to get from one department to the other. The layout on the main and top floors are OK, the best that it can be at that size but that severely effects the selection.
  2. Shoe Issues: The Licoln Square Century 21 shoe collection is blah compared to downtown. Downtown there are 2 levels with exclusive designers below. The Licoln Square Century 21 shoe department lacks luster and shares it's tiny space with childrens clothing. The layout in the shoe department is horrible and it it makes looking at the shoes difficult.
  3. Cleanliness: With that said the Licoln Square Century 21 is MUCH more organized and restocked very frequently. The employees are quick about putting merchandise that is out of place back in its proper spot and they are very knowledgable about where all the designers are located.
  4. Dressing Rooms: OMFG I waited in line for about 20 minutes to try on 3 items. There is only one womens dressing room at the New Licoln Square Location. Inside there are 10 dressing rooms and one small communal dressing room that can fit about 4 people. Talk about catastrophe. The line was wrapped around the womens department.
  5. Selection: The selection is great...awesome designers but smaller quantity of pieces than those compared at the downtown location.
So thats my comparison. I am happy that the New Century 21 is closer to where I live but I will still be popping into the downtown location for shoes!

Have you ever shopped at Century 21?
How was your experience?

lacy little number

Since the cooler weather is finally kicking in here in NYC I decided to bust out my nifty blazer before it's too cold to do so.

Outfit
Lace Blazer: Thrifted from The Vintage Twin Trunk Show
Purse: Forever 21

This lacy little blazer is soooooo perfect. I must say it is one of my prized thrifted possessions. That may be partly because I'm obsessed with blazers and partly because I'm obsessed with lace.
The best of both worlds! I also decided to keep the huge shoulder pads...i think it adds a certain something.
Love the back of it too..so chose to wear nothing but a bra underneath.

crazy bag lady

i am a total bag lady especially since discovering Farfetch.com.
This site is the boutique of all boutiques online.
it's a pretty awesome concept where all the worlds hottest most exclusive boutiques sell on
ONE SITE!
you can image how many hours I spent perusing the site looking for shoulder bags.
Here are a few lovelies im currently lusting after.
Alexander Wang Deigo Bag my dream bag in life! Would definitely need to save up for this bad boy but have been seeing it everywhere from top bloggers to chic ladies on every New York City Street!  See by Chloe Nylon bag a fashion STEELE at $105 and perfect for rainy days!
See by Chloe Bucket bag and Alexander Wang Ryan Ombre Bag...another one on my
"Wish I made more money" list.
The bag collection on Farfetch.com is INSANE  and they have a great selection of Chloe bags but they also sell everything from clothes to housing knick knacks (which is sure to occupy most of your lunch hour on the internet). But of course the bags and the sale section is what caught my eye.
I find most of my designer deals online in the sale section and this is the time of year when everyone is trying to get rid of their summer inventory. Take NOTE! This is when you should start creating your look for the next summer season! atleast thats what I do..lol
Here are some of my favs from Farfetch.com sales section.
A bold printed dress will never go out of style.
I am inlove with these adorbs cargo printed shorts!
All of the above items are less than $100 dollars...with these awesome pants come in at just $38 on Farfetch.com! So even though it's getting cold don't forget about all the amazing discounts you can find online for HOT summer staples that won't go out of style.
whats your favorite place online to score designer deals?
