It's absolutely perfection for Spring.

this dress is perfectly sweet so I edged it up a bit with a little MAC Red lipstick. Its my favorite lipstick ever. Old faithful. I'm back to wearing my Jeffrey Campbell Fords with everything too. They are super comfortable although everytime I wear them some guy says...ohh "be careful". I hate when guys try to hit on you by saying something totally stupid. I want to be like
"hey ahole I've been walking in heels for 13 years..I think I can handle it!"
but i just nod..smile..and keep it moving.
P.S.
Curly hair!

SPRING FLORALS

goodbye bubble coat...HELLO first day of SPRING!
its so warm I can sit outside, eating my lunch in Madison Square Park.
florals are perfection for this weather!

Top: Vintage from The Vintage Twin | Skirt: Vintage from Curly Top Vintage Shop |
Shoes: Jeffery Campbell Ford | Coat: Eileen Fisher | Bag: Thrifted | Sunnies: Ray Ban
this is one of the skirts I wore during New York Fashion Week. I love it. I foresee me wearing it ALOT in the very near future. this sheer sleeved top was an awesome find from The Vintage Twin trunk show that I attended last year. I've gotten so many great things. I'll be sure to keep you in the loop for the next one. I am also on a serious floral skirt spree right now.
If you are looking for a great floral midi skirt try this one or this one.

dont put away those cutoff shorts

it's that awkward time of year where you can't quite wear cutoffs and a tank top even though it's 70 degrees in outside. I always think in the back of my mind...it's October and that keeps my wardrobe in the correct season.
so I reel in the summer and Fallerize (yes i just created that word...don't steal it) my cutoffs with a light sweater.

Outfit
Sweater: Kensie via Nordstroms Rack
Shorts: Levis
Bag: Thrifted see it worn differently here
Hat: Random Soho Vender get a similar look here

i've already switched out my extreme summer clothes for some Fall tops but these are the only pair of jean cutoffs i left out. i plan to wear these straight through the Fall and into early Winter with some opaque tights.
this look is one of my favorites for Fall. i wish i had more cutoffs though like
these and these. with a thick chucky sweater and combat boots they'd be perrrrrrfection!
so what from your summer wardobe will you be keeping out through Fall and Winter?

lacy little number

Since the cooler weather is finally kicking in here in NYC I decided to bust out my nifty blazer before it's too cold to do so.

Outfit
Lace Blazer: Thrifted from The Vintage Twin Trunk Show
Purse: Forever 21

This lacy little blazer is soooooo perfect. I must say it is one of my prized thrifted possessions. That may be partly because I'm obsessed with blazers and partly because I'm obsessed with lace.
The best of both worlds! I also decided to keep the huge shoulder pads...i think it adds a certain something.
Love the back of it too..so chose to wear nothing but a bra underneath.

!!!!!Independent Fashion Bloggers Conference!!!!!!!!

I'm off to the IFB Conference today at MAC & Milk Studios. I am on my way there now...gotta be there at 7 am because I'm volunteering. Just wanted to quickly show you all what I'm wearing today to the Conference. I will be updating this post throughout the day with photos and videos so keep checking back in! Ahhhhhh NEW YORK FASHION WEEK!

Outfit
Dress: Lovers and Friends via Urban Outfitters or a shorter version HERE
Necklace: Thrifted see it worn differently HERE
Rings: Assorted

The Conference
The conference was amazing. I got to see a lot of bloggers I havent seen since last IFB Conference in February. I also got to meet some fabulous bloggers I've been following via twitter and through their blogs. It's always nice to meet someone you feel like you are already friends with thanks to social media.
Check out the video I made of awesome outfits and get the overall feel of the conference.
It was definitely a room of very fashion forward people!
There were 4 panels with various bloggers and media experts such as Leandra from Man Repeller, Sammy Davis of Sammy Davis Vintage, Yuli Ziv author of "Blogging Your Way to the Front Row", Coco Rocha, Ari Seth Cohen and lastly Joe Zee creative director of Elle Magazine.

The best information cam from Ari Goldberg CEO of Style Caster Media Group hands down. He gave us the low down on how to go about monetizing our blogs and stressed that bloggers need to be more business savvy. Bloggers need to learn more about advertising and how it works.

Listen to what Joe Zee had to say about social media HERE!
