Black Lace and a Blue Stone

 






 I got this great ring from ASOS and I even saw it in the March issue of Marie Claire Magazine!


 I got this amazing necklace at an African Shop on 125th Street. I am obsessed with this store and all their beautiful accessories.

When I came across this amazing skirt at Necessary Objects for only $21 I had to have it. I have been wanting a maxi skirt like this for awhile. Glad I finally can cross it off my list! I love pairing skirts like this or ankle length skirts with socks and heels. I think this trend is preppy yet chic!
What do you all think of the socks with heels look? 
I saw it a lot on the runways during NYC Fashion Week. Let's thanks Mother Nature for warming NYC up to a boiling 52 degrees today and curse her for the 30 degree weather tomorrow...sigh.

    The skirt is a great find indeed. I need a maxi skirt like that too, or with pleats instead of lace. I like the socks with heels trend and I adore wearing socks with pumps, reminds me of the 80's trend. xxx

    been on the hunt some time now for a skirt like this one! i love the lace detail and the length! I'm a sucker for anything lace :) @the whole socks and shoe trend, i love to see how people such as you make this look work! Its deff a look that i would love to try! As for me i tend to fall in love with trends after they no longer exists! weird huh? im now starting to really like clogs! lol! but overall i wear what i like! loving the look hun!
