The Hills are Alive

With the "Sound of Music". That is one of my favorite movies. I love when Julie Andrews "Maria" sings this song while on top of towering lushious green hills. Well my hill isn't a hill at all..its actually pretty flat but I sure felt like "Maria" twirling around in this very full skirt. These photos were taken this past weekend when the weather in NYC was actually pretty nice.







Outfit
Skirt: Thrifted at Valley Thrift Shop along with an awesome dress I wore for A Special Occasion. This skirt was only $3..I mean come on..fashion STEELE!!!
Crop Ribbed Top: H&M... see it worn differently HERE!!!!!
Earrings: Jewelry Plaze NYC
Ring: Forever 21
Shoes: Jessican Simpson Dany Platforms..see them differently HERE!!!

I am a lover of full skirts and vintage ankle length skirts. When I discovered this skirt I was super duper excited. I've always wanted a long full skirt in this exact color. The thrift Gods must really love me...lol. It's getting a tad bit warmer in NYC which is awesome but still breezy so I love that this skirt is actually quite heavy and thick.

I'm trying to be more excited when posing for photos..lol. I hope I am doing a good job. I've just started jumping lol. It's very hard to jump and not look crazy. What do you all think?

    haha I love the jumping I should smile more in my outfit posts too haha! I adore maxi skirts they make me feel so young or like I'm on the set of "little house on the prairie" giggles.
