my downtown look

I'll admit it...I have "looks". I have my sophisticated look, my earthy look, my fun business look and my downtown look. Hell i have way more than that but for times sake...we'll keep it short.

this is more of a downtown look for me. when i think downtown Manhattan I think

trendy, fun and sexy.

i put this look together with those thoughts in mind and topped it off with a hat just because....

I love being downtown..it's a whole different world from being in Harlem. But sometimes its just nice to be home. It's quieter and the rent is so much more affordable. Hey I'm only a 30 minute train ride from downtown and it gives me just enough time to read my fashion magazines.

Plus is I lived downtown near all the awesome shopping...I'd be perpetually broke.

the leopard in the park

leopard is starting to fade out of the fashion scene as neons are rushing in.

 you know what that means...

time to pull the leopard prints back out!

this top is one that i picked up from Zara and wore religiously with everything i could find last year.

im sure it will find its way into many an outfit this year as well.

like this one during last New York Fashion Week and now as i took a stroll through my local park.

i think the leopard with the purple colored jeans goes well. now that spring is around the corner the darker colored jeans are rolling out and the bright neons, greens and orange jeans are "in".

 i swear i've seen every bright colored jean in every major chain store in the past week! lol.

feeling a little animalistic

this top from Zara has really gotten a lot of mileage since I got it. It is the only animal print top I own but it goes great with just about everything. is animal print..specifically leopard then NEW Black?

This is my first pair of Harem jeans. I'm kinda stoked about them. They were a fashion STEELE at $17. See the other ways I've worn this top HERE and HERE! Also included a pic of my favorite most worn lipstick of all time MAC Satin Red. It's just myyyyyy kinda lipstick.

P.S. I finally learned how to walk slow enough to get good walking photos HA!
