linen, leather and velvet

talk about mixing fabrics. my aim was to incorporate as many fabrics into one outfit as possible.

lol just kidding it just kind of turned out that way actually.

Ummmmm WTH is up with this crazy weather. These photos were taken last week when NYC was still hitting 70s then all of a sudden IT SNOWS. and not just a little bit of Snow...
IT SNOWED LIKE IT WAS JANUARY.
OMG.
I am now wearing sweats, Uggs, a beanie and a NorthFace.
I CANNOT believe it. Hopefully I won the powerball last night so I can only live in NYC during Spring and Summer and jet off to Mexico in the winters.
We can all dream right?

i love the mixture of colors in this outfit. I think purple and skyblue is an awesome color combination.

this is one of my favorite leather jackets that I got at Nordstrom's Rack this past summer on sale.

Sole Society

Last month while attending Blogger Night Out I won a contest to win

free shoes for a year from Sole Society.

I've got my account up and running and now have 5 new pairs of shoes!

I can't wait to see what else pops up in my exclusively picked shoe closet.

This is a dream come true....considering I buy shoes instead of groceries.

the COLORED jean

im am DIGGING my colored jean collection which really only consist of two pair...

those in these photos and these green babies!

I like to stick to darker colored jeans..even if they are a color.

maybe I'll add a red pair to the collection soon.

i'll wear what i want after labor day

i just don't get the whole don't wear any white after labor day.

i feel like there are NO RULES when it comes to Fashion

only fashion mishaps that everyone should have the opportunity to make lol.

i love this off white baby doll dress that i picked up at H&M earlier this summer. i think its fabulous for Fall.

There are only a few things I wont do when it comes to fashion.

Sling Backs: I just can't do a sling back heel..I dont know why...it looks great for some women but just not for me and my huge feet

Creepers: Dear God....I have seen some of my favorite bloggers wear them and dont get me wrong they look great but I would feel and probably look like Frankenstein in them.

Polka Dots: You will never ever...ever...ever...ever see me in them. Not that I have anything against polka dots i just dont like them.

Arm Party: Sorry I'm just not on the arm party bandwagon. My arms are party free...lol

Catsuits: OMG OMG OMG catsuits should be banned world wide. NO BODY and I mean NO BODY looks good in a skin tight catsuit.

Thats it. lol.

I actually wore this ring and boots in another outfit post HERE. Now I don;t play favorites with my shoes but these boots are extra special (who can quote me where that line came from???)

I do love them because they are super comfortable and I got them for a STEELE at less than $40 at DSW last summer.
