ok ladies and gents. bear with me. this is the story of the Gianvito Rossi's.

so i went to Brooklyn for a business meeting at the Brooklyn Moon Cafe a few weeks ago.

the crab cakes are delish by the way but i digress. on the way back even though I was a little tired i decided to get off at Chambers Street and check out the downtown Century 21.

i was there approximately 1 hour before closing time.

i made a b-line for my favorite area...luxury shoes downstairs and to much delight discovered they were having an awesometastic freaking unbelievable sale.

it took about 5 minutes before I came across these

gianvito rossi for altuzarra furry pumps.

i definitely peed my pants a little but thats ok.

i slipped off my Toms...and slipped into this green patent leather beauty.

it was complete and utter love. i have always always always wanted a furry shoe since i missed out on these Sergio Rossi's at DSW. they are just sooooooo perfection.

and guess what.......

they were only $120....yes... I saved about $500 thanks to the sale.

i am so happy right now because with the purchase of these shoes my outfits for

 New York Fashion Week are complete.

yes....i have my outfits together already. dont.judge.me.

everybody has one...a favorite color or atleast a color that makes your face glow,

makes you stand straighter, makes you feel confident and perhaps even sexier.

Green is that color for me.

every single job interview I've gone on I've worn green. (and gotten the job!)

im a sucker for a good shoe

all hail tax time!

i specifically use my return on shoes and vacations.

just booked my trip to Barcelona...a serious STEELE indeed.

roundtrip airfare and a 4 Star hotel for 6 nights for $1200.

ummmmm HELLO.

Guess American's arent the only country suffering a harsh economy.

the euro is at an all time low..so take full advantage people!

but back to the shoes....two fresh pair straight from DSW.

I can see myself this spring and summer wearing boyfriend jeans like these rolled up a little rocking either one of these pair of shoes and a crisp white tee.

i can also see them dressed up a bit with one of my favorite vintage skirts.

Finally got to pull out my one of my favorite skirts. I love the jersey material and the shape of it. It's also my favorite color. I have been mixing greens and oranges a lot lately like HERE! I love skirts with interesting shapes. Finally got to bust out my Market wedges that I got from DSW. They really have some awesome shoes...such as these and these Rock and Republic wedges for 1/2 the price that I recently ordered! fashion STEELE!

So I've found myself using all my birthday coupons from places like Loehmann's and DSW. Being a member of rewards cards are pretty awesome during your birthday month.

May...the greatest month of all time...ok ok so I'm biased...but it is pretty awesome.

Lasagna, Moscato and Red Pumps

I am a very good cook and decided I wanted to make lasagna today. Lasagna is my favorite favorite food.

I can eat it all day for a week without a problem...which is what I plan to do since I made a whole pan full.

I also bought some awesome Zigi Red Suede Pumps from DSW during Black Friday and wanted to showcase them.

When I tried these on at DSW I just had to have them. I love the heel!

Getting all my cheese in order for my lasagna. I love to cook and pretty damn good at it!

Time to start layering those noodles!

The finished product...lovely and cheesy and topped off with a glass of slightly sweet Moscato!
