Heels: Zara

If you follow me on Instagram you've already seen these gorge platform heels.

I was kinda over the "Platform" until I saw these white, tan and black beauties at Zara.

Scooped them up for a whooping $19.99.

How I do love the Zara sale. Hurry before its over.

They kinda remind me of these Charlotte Olympia sandals. Speaking of Charlotte Olympia cant wait till in gets a littler cooler to bust these velvet green beauties of a wedge heel out. Paris perhaps.

i love shoes...thats my effin problem

some women love clothes or accessories. some women love jewelry or bags.

me... I love shoes...that's my effin problem.

now I like a good deal...hence the title of my blog Fashion Steele NYC...also its my last name so its a double cooltandra. but shoes...well I don't care how much a shoe costs. if I really really want them i will find a way to buy them. whether that be taking another job, working extra hours or stalking them on various websites until they go on sale. I have stalked ebay, I have done sample sales, I've gone from one store to another looking for my size. Heck I've even interviewed one of L.A.M.B.s shoe designers! A good shoe can make an outfit even if you are wearing a garbage bag...a fabulous pump and damnit you look great. any who NYFW got me jonesing for shoes and these are a few that will be in HEAVY rotation this Spring.

beaded blazer

Well it isn't actually studded but it has that studded look with the use of beading. I love love love this beaded blazer from Lulus.com. Its eye catching and unique and the perfect topper to any outfit. I wanted to let the jacket shine so I went with a basic all black look with my new H&M jeans and also a great eye popping pair of red pumps from Lulus.com as well.

GET THE LOOK

I'm so glad I got this blazer in time for all the holiday parties coming up. it will be perfect over sequin dresses or over a nice full skirt and top. These are a pair of jeans I bought from H&M after doing my True to Size denim trial. They fit great and I love the distressed look too.

Alexander Wang Shoe Fund

there have been a few shoes that i've missed the boat on. both of which were alexander wang.

i literally cried when i couldn't find a pair of fabiana's anywhere or the bianca's.

well now there is another hot fire alexander wang shoe that i will NOT let slip through my fingers.

we broke up over these shoes

lets face it, there comes a time in a relationship when you are first dating someone where you have to choose to either take it to the next level or move on.

i was once dating this very fine guy.

6'2'', facial hair (i have a thing for facial hair), and the queen's english accent (an island boy).

damn that accent.

anywho...i got these amazing Top Shop chiffon wedges after my first Fashion Night Out and was ready to break them in on a date with my then beau.

so back to the story...I show up with these on, skin tight jeans and my American Apparel 3D Mesh top...basically THIS OUTFIT from one of my very first outfit post. i was fabulous...i know because atleast 7 women stopped me on my way to the movie theatre to say...I was fabulous.

 so the movie was aweful and he fell asleep during the movie O_o.

then on our way out he looks down and smirks and then scoffs and then laughs.

i looked down expecting to see something that was funny but saw nothing but my gawjus shoes.

he then proceeds to mock my shoes.

yes...mock them.

and i thought to myself..."don't...don't mock the shoes" in my Carrie Bradshaw voice in my head.

Men just don't get it sometimes.

i called him that very night and ended things.

here lies Monroe. She had 2 great loves...and lot's of shoes!

Gianvito Rossi

ok ladies and gents. bear with me. this is the story of the Gianvito Rossi's.

so i went to Brooklyn for a business meeting at the Brooklyn Moon Cafe a few weeks ago.

the crab cakes are delish by the way but i digress. on the way back even though I was a little tired i decided to get off at Chambers Street and check out the downtown Century 21.

i was there approximately 1 hour before closing time.

i made a b-line for my favorite area...luxury shoes downstairs and to much delight discovered they were having an awesometastic freaking unbelievable sale.

it took about 5 minutes before I came across these

gianvito rossi for altuzarra furry pumps.

i definitely peed my pants a little but thats ok.

i slipped off my Toms...and slipped into this green patent leather beauty.

it was complete and utter love. i have always always always wanted a furry shoe since i missed out on these Sergio Rossi's at DSW. they are just sooooooo perfection.

and guess what.......

they were only $120....yes... I saved about $500 thanks to the sale.

i am so happy right now because with the purchase of these shoes my outfits for

 New York Fashion Week are complete.

yes....i have my outfits together already. dont.judge.me.
