I love sequins. This is a recent love of mine. I used to be too self conscious to wear something so sparkly. No longer..sequins add instant glamour to any outfit.

Gone with the Wind

I'm having a blast being back in my home state of North Carolina. Today was a really windy day. I visited my Grandma who made a Thanksgiving Sunday for me...sweet!

One thing I really miss about North Carolina is the mild winters.

New York Winters can be so brutal!

But I digress...here is todays outfit post!

 Got these AMAZING N.Y.L.A boots at DSW...originally $99.95 got them 50% off and had a     Rewards coupon for $15 off for being a DSW rewards member...so...got these for $34!!! What a STEELE!!!

Light Years in South Point Mall in Durham NC.

Got this amazing skirt from the New Forever 21 on 5th Ave in NYC. The store just opened November 19th and its just lovely, all six floors of it! Check it out!

Southern Hospitality

This Thanksgiving I finally got out of New York and back home to North Carolina.

I had a great time eating and dancing with family!

What did you purchase?

I scored these Vera Wang boots that I absolutely love. Tons of jewelry and tops. I also bought a video game console "PowerStation 2" with all the old games (80 in all) on one cartridge including Mario and Pac-man...so stoked! Only cost me $40!!! I also bought a rug from Marshalls..hopefully they let me on the plane with it!

Brooklyns Finest

I recently took a trip to Brooklyn

for some thift shopping.

 It seems all the "cool" people live in Brooklyn..lol

I love the Brooklyn Museum First Saturdays (Free to all) and guys from Brooklyn lol

But with me living in Harlem, Brooklyn is hella far but I'll make the trip for some

great thrifting, great art and great hot guys lol!

I visited Beacons Closet in Williamsburg Brooklyn NY

88 North 11th Street

They have an amazing HUGE selection of coats, dresses and belts.

I could spend all day at this place!

I'm IN LOVE with the Egyptian Exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum.

I love anything egyptian and it was especially cool to see a mummy in the Mummy Chamber!

Seeing Stripes

Decided to take a trip to Riverside Park in West Harlem along the Hudson River.

This park is so beautiful and has all kind of hidden trails and architecture.

 I discovered this beautiful staircase that leads down to an old abandoned train track that once ran on the West Side of the City.

This old fountain is amazing!

Riverside Park on the West Side of NYC is one of my favorite places to jog and relax and people watch.

Its so beautiful especially with the Hudson River and the Fall leaves.
