Boy oh boy...my feet were really hurting after 6 days of shows. It was really cool getting to see all the fashion at Lincoln Center though! Can't wait till February for Fashion Week!

Alot of the pieces came from Loehmann's. Can you guess which ones?

I've also started my small personal shopping business. I also buy and ship as well. So if you need something you can't get where you are or are in the NYC area...lets go shopping.
I can work with any budget...trust me lol!

Fashion Week Day 5

Today was a pretty amazeballs day! Mostly because I got a free cab ride! Thats right in between shows at Lincoln Center I needed to head down to Fashion Indie to check out their Lounge. Low and behold this cab rides up with IncredibleIndia! On the side and whisks me away to my destination
 FREE OF CHARGE.
its moments like these New York that make me love you even more!

My Outfit for the day was a Tibi dress that I got on my favorite new little secret The Outnet! It was 50% off during a flash sale. Can we scream fashion STEELE! I actually attended the Tibi show the next day but was almost sure someone would be wearing it and didn't want to take that DREADED chance lol.
A dress like this will definitely get you noticed...atleast by the folks over at Daily Candy....hehe
My Schedule
Carlos Miele
Nolcha Fashion Week Shows
Pamella Roland
VLOV
Norman Ambrose

Loved all the vibrant colors: oranges and bright blues! Very well made collection. Most of the dresses and skirts featured slits and I smell that being a new trend. A basic little twist on maxis for those who are a little daring!

Nolcha Shows
These shows were at the Metropolitan Pavillion. It was fun because there were tons of cool vendors and designers there as well.
Designers:
Carlos Luna
Sarahi House of fashion
Eradappa
K. Borgella

These shows were pretty amazing! Check out the slide Show!

Great presentation. I loved how it was set up too. Kinda cool dont you think? Gorgeous dresses and this model above was WORKING her frame. I mean working IT!

Ummmm Yes. This collection was really cool. Lots of metallics and blazers/jackets. I would want a boyfriend who wears VLOV ha!

Norman Ambrose
Standing Ovation
Me likey very much this collection. The gold, the details (peep that second photo), the hair (peep that last photo)...Norman did his thing all up and through this collection.
Perfection...definitely a favorite of the day. I want that gold jacket!

Between running back and forth between shows at Lincoln Center and the Metropolitan Pavillion I made my way to the Fashion Indie Break Lounge for some much need rest and relaxation.
check out my NYFW Coverage Link for info and pics!

Fashion Week Day 4

Day 4 was a lot more laid back than day 2 and 3. On this day I my schedule was pretty light with just 3 shows
Katya Leonovich
Lela Rose
Boy Meets Girl.

I just wanted to be a little relaxed today so I went with a more casual look. Oh I also found I made Essence.com Street Style again :-)

Here is a run down of the shows
Katya Leonovich
This collection was quite interesting. A lot of colors and kookiness to it. I personally didn't find the collection to be realistic. Some things perhaps are red carpet worthy for the likes of Nicki Minaj or just someone with a big enough personality to wear the clothes and not let the clothes wear them.
I can see the thought and creativity that went into this collection and that alone is admirable.
There were a lot of denim pieces and I'm just not into denim unless its jeans or a jean jacket.

Lela Rose
Lela Rose 2012 Spring Collection was trully beautiful and whimsical yet wearable. I love the gold dress and all the lovely little details. The above dress is sooooo stunning.
The prints were perfection and the collection is very well rounded which is something I look for in collections. Job well done!

BOY MEETS GIRL
Boy Meets Girl was definitely not the typical fashion show. Taking place in a club the models strutted above everyone down a staircase to none other than The Veronica's playing live!
Pretty cool setting and atmosphere. Can you guess who that first model is????

FUN FLICKS
Ashley from the Bachelorette opened Stacy Igels Boy Meets Girl show and ofcourse JP was there too!
They are really in love and its not for tv. They couldn't stay away from each other all night.
Angela Simmons looking GORGE...I need her nail polish at the Boy Meets Girl Show
Omarion posed for my camera...he's so humble and nice!
Mariska Hargitay and Susan Sarandon at Lela Rose
Front Row at Lela rose
Day 4 was amazing. It's at this point that I kinda start to find my stride during Fashion Week. I even found a secret spot to change from my flats into my heels before stepping out into the open square where you are bound to get your photo taken.
But I must say MY FEET KILL. My calves ache and my shoulder has a bump from wearing my purse with a million freebies in it from all the events I've attended.
Hey Beauty is Pain...hehe.
