I really love the holidays. This is my first holiday without my family and I was a little bummed but practically talked with my mom, aunts, cousins and siblings over the phone all day so it wasn't so bad.
Everyone received my gifts in time. I received some awesome gifts and didn't get a tree this year but decorated my apartment and cooked a lovely Christmas dinner for me and my friend Alicia.

I'm so inlove with this CD! Currently Man down and Raining Men are my favorites!
Also got some great scents too. This one, Omni Bvlgari is one of my favorites!
I got tons of cocktail rings from one of my good friends and Secret Santa! She has awesome taste!

On the menu: Rosemary and Lemon Roasted Chicken, Red Dill Potato Salad, Candied Yams, Baked Mac and Cheese, Jasmine Rice and Collard Greens with a Peach Pie for dessert!
We spent the day talking, watching movies, eating and drinking copious amounts of wine.

Great post! Love all the things you got especially the cocktail rings! The couch looks nice and plush! Glad you made out okay without physically being with your family, the food and pie look yummy! I lucked out of cooking this year (although I have to cook tomorrow) and went hoping around to dif. family members houses stealing left overs : ) I'd have to say my fav gift was my new camera! Now I can take proper blog pics. Yay me! And Yay for the blizzard coming our way...no work monday!!

I too have been decorating my house, or atleast trying. It's terribly difficult as I have cream tiles and canary yellow walls and Mr. Wright doesn't want to paint!! I wish I had the ease of hardwood floors and eggplant walls!!
