Stylish Blogger Award

I've been seeing the Stylish Blogger Award going around and was so surprised and honored today when I was received this award from one of my favorite bloggers Nana Stars.
I am really lucky to have such great followers and people who like my blog. I work really hard at it and its nice to hear all the wonderful comments. So I have to now share 7 facts about myself and pass on this award to 7 bloggers that I adore. Lets keep it rolling fashionistas!
Here is an outfit I wore yesterday to a great Holiday Party at a friends.
I had such a great time eating all the delicious food she cooked and playing Taboo with all the other guest!

Finally got to wear the necklace I got earlier this week from the Union Square Shops see it better
 here in An NYC Christmas.


 7 facts about me
  1. My real name is not Monroe its a pen name I use. However my last name is really Steele...lol. Monroe is actually the name I plan to give my daughter (when I have one).
  2. I have 3 tattoos: A cross on my left foot, Aztec art symbol on the small of my back and the word Agaperos on my right hip bone (Agape=Love Eros=Passion i combined the 2 words)
  3. I have a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and thats my main job with blogging on the side for fun
  4. When I shoot looks I usually shoot 5-6 looks in 2 hours and post them throughout the week. Its not realistic for me to shoot everyday as I work 40hrs a week lol
  5. I'm a Taurus
  6. I love love love playing scrabble and doing crosswords
  7. I almost never ever ever iron clothes unless I absolutely have to. I iron about 4 times a year lol

    Aww congrats on your award, you deserve it :) And thank you for sharing a little more about yourself, I'm a Taurus too! And WOW you have a doctorate in physical therapy!!! That is EXTREMELY impressive & inspiring to me! I am in my undergrad right now in a food science/Nutrition program and I love it :) I plan on getting my doctorate as well! Stay FABULOUS!!

    Congrats on the award, you totally deserve it! And I love that you have a tatoo with Greek words! Although Eros does not exactly mean passion, it's what you feel when you are "in love". You can feel "agape" for your parents but you feel "eros" for your boyfriend/husband. At least for the first few years, lol! xxx
