DIY or Die or atleast till your thumbs bleed

I attended a DIY event recently with some NYC Fashion Bloggers Meetup Members which was my first ever! I have only DIY'd a necklace before but never clothes. Yall know I can't sew and stapled these shorts when I wanted to alter them lol.
I grabbed some old black denim jeans from H&M and a red clutch I never wear to DIY.

my thumbs felt like i smashed them in a door afterwards...but i really love my bada$$ looking studded jeans and purse! Thanks to Studsandspikes.com for providing all the studs and spikes!

have you all ever DIY'd something?

xoxo
