I decided to go with this brown, silver and gold sequin number I picked up a Loehmanns a few years back. Come to think of it..everything I'm wearing is from Loehann's from the Jacket to the Booties! I also wore this dress during FNO! I guess for New Years I'm all about sequins...like this green sequin number I wore last New Years.

all dressed up

during New York Fashion Week I was invited to attend the Socialyte Gala to support the Rescue Paw Foundation to save animals from kill sheltors and inhumane treatment. I was really psyched about attending being that I am a dog lover! My dog Jasmine died a few years ago. She was such a quiet sweet dog and the only time she barked was when she was dreaming. She was also deathly afraid of the vacuum cleaner! lol. anywho for those who followed my posts and tweets during fashion week you all know i came down with the fashion week flu and was sick and tired as all hell and I couldn't attend the Gala. But being the type-A person I am I took photos in the dress I wanted to wear before hand. Thus...here I am...all dressed up...and didn't go anywhere!

I bought this one shoulder Amsale dress two years ago and have never worn it. I was thinking of wearing it to a New Years Bash with my then boyfriend but then I decided to go with another dress and completely forgot about it until recently. it still had tags on it! now im actually starting to think about New Years and Holiday dresses again! Some amazing brands from

 Tadashi Shoji to Aidan Mattox. I wore a sequin Aidan Mattox dress last new years!

A very SEQUIN New Years

So last night was the "Sequins and Southern Hospitality" party that my friends and I threw.

It was a hit. I had such a great time. I did the stanky leg, I dropped it low and did some form of the electric slide all while eating a cookie and drinking a glass (or two or four) of moscato.

It's a dream I didn't wake up today with a huge headache!

Well its 2012 and it's a gorgeous day in NYC.

I'm going to cook myself a New Years dinner tonight and get to work on my inspiration board.

But guess what????? All I can think about is that Fashion Week is a month and a half away!

The dress and heels both were bought with the $2000 gift certificate I won during the
Saks and Stylelist Competition.
I got so many compliments on this dress. I love it so much. It is my favorite color too! I think I will get a lot of mileage out of this sequin stunner.
I hope everyone had a ROCKIN NEW YEARS EVE!
I know I did! I actually wore these same earrings last New Years Eve.
