ohhhhh snap. i pulled out the thigh high boots! what i love most about these boots is that they still make it possible for me to wear skirts and sometimes even shorts in the colder months. these are suede and super warm too. thigh high boots are versatile and can work with jeans too! i got these babies last year and they have come in quite handy.

A very SEQUIN New Years

So last night was the "Sequins and Southern Hospitality" party that my friends and I threw.

It was a hit. I had such a great time. I did the stanky leg, I dropped it low and did some form of the electric slide all while eating a cookie and drinking a glass (or two or four) of moscato.

It's a dream I didn't wake up today with a huge headache!

Well its 2012 and it's a gorgeous day in NYC.

I'm going to cook myself a New Years dinner tonight and get to work on my inspiration board.

But guess what????? All I can think about is that Fashion Week is a month and a half away!

I got so many compliments on this dress. I love it so much. It is my favorite color too! I think I will get a lot of mileage out of this sequin stunner.

I know I did! I actually wore these same earrings last New Years Eve.

Sneak Peek: New Years Eve 2012

Well today is the last day of 2011 and I had an amazing year.

I started my blog late last year and this year it has just really opened so many doors for me.

I got to accomplish a dream of mine of going to New York Fashion Week.

I was featured in Marie Claire and Glamour Magazine.

I was in an episode of All on the Line with Joe Zee.

I met some amazing people and friends who are all a puzzle in the gigantic thing known as the Blogosphere.

I am really just happy with the way 2011 went and am very excited about all the possibilities 2012 will bring.

Here's a toast to those who've been with me on this journey and to all the things to come!

I am forever grateful for your readership, friendship, and support.

Now here's a little sneak peek into what I will be wearing tonight!

My friends and I are throwing a New Years Eve Bash titled

Shining Star

I love sequins. This is a recent love of mine. I used to be too self conscious to wear something so sparkly. No longer..sequins add instant glamour to any outfit.
