baby its cold outside

actually its freezing outside. the weather in NYC today was super rainy with ice and snow. good thing I got out before the snow came in and finally rocked my Michael Kors faux fur coat that I got for a STEELE at Marshalls. I paired in down with a top I got from Loehmanns (on sale) and my favorite pair of boyfriend jeans. it is quite possible to look fashionable even when its cold but I also love my very ugly down black bubble coat as well. its keeps me warm but it looks like hell.

I hope everyone's holiday was rocking! I had such a great time. I saw the movie Django Unchained and I really enjoyed it. I then had dinner with friends. It was a great Christmas for me. I am sooooo looking forward to New Years! I already have my outfit ready to go. I will keep you all posted on what I will be wearing...think sequins!

comfort is fashionable

sometimes I just want to wear some sweatpants and chill. but i would never wear sweatpants just out and about but leggings...why yes...those are acceptable. I like to think of it as fashion laziness.

leggings are the best thing to happen to a girl.

throw on an oversized tee, some wedge booties and a faux fur coat and you've got yourself an outfit.

I picked these leggings up at the Original Penguin store in SOHO during my first Fashion Night Out in 2010. They are super comfortable yet stylish. Speaking of fashion...I'm so exicted about

the $15 faux fur cape

My $15 faux fur cape from Goodwill is most certainly coming in handy now.

I am so inlove with it and Goodwill for providing me with such a fashion STEELE!

This was the first day I took my little darling for a spin and she enjoyed it!

This cape is so lush! I really like the color of it too because it can go with just about everything. See my other favorite Eileen Fisher Cape. I'm gearing up to visit my home town in North Carolina for Christmas. I'm so excited to see my family but I hate that the airlines are such jerks during the holidays. My ticket cost me half a million dollars! UGH! But atleast I will get to spend Christmas with my family. Last year I was unable to. Check out my post from last Christmas!

finally cold enough

Not that I like anything about winter but its finally cold enough for my faux fur Michael Kors coat that I scored at Marshalls and featured as a Fashion Steele of the Week in October on my

 Youtube Channel.

This coat is so warm and practically goes with just about everything thanks to the neutral color.

So who else is rocking the faux fur this Winter? I also got to rock one of my favorite necklaces. I got this necklace around this time last year at the Holiday Market in Union Square. I was just down there a few days ago and got the best Waffle from Waffles and Dinges...complete with

 whip cream and chocolate and strawberries YUM!

I always find great things and they restock with new inventory on a weekly basis.
