My Personal Style: Spring Lookbook Preview 2011

With Spring on the way and Mercedes Benz Fashion Week 2011 coming up in just a few weeks I decided to put together my own personal style spring lookbook preview.
I definitely have started beefing up my wardrobe for Spring and Summer.

COLOR TRENDS
I think this Spring I will be focusing more on earthy colors such as:
Soft Blues: Mint Blue, Torquoise, Baby Blues
Whites: Crisp stark whites and soft off whites
Tans and Browns: Camel and Cognac
Greens: Earth tone greens, army green and sage
Woods, Torquoise and Tribal Inspired Accessories
Overall for me hot colors this Spring are: Blue, Brown, White and Green

I also think that skirts that hit just at mid-lower calf are going to make a huge come back this Spring. The Maxi Skirt will still reign supreme but how will you show off your amazing shoes with Maxis? This is the solution. I love this vintage A-Line Pleated skirt in white heavy linen.

ACCESSORIES
Large statement bangles are a definite must for the Spring season. Tribal prints, natural wood, and ivories will be my Spring go-to accessories.

I combined some of my color and accessory trends with this look.
Top: Vintage Skirt: Vintage Shoes: Jessica Simpson Belt: Urban Outfitters

So what do you fashionistas think will be burning up the runway in a few weeks? Do you all have any color or trends that you expect to see for the Spring Runway shows? I'm not much into designers but am anxious to see what the designers think will be "it" for the Spring season.

Stay Tuned for more of My Personal Style Spring Lookbook!!! I'll be posting throughout the week.

XOXO
Monroe
