Black Lace and a Blue Stone

I got this great ring from ASOS and I even saw it in the March issue of Marie Claire Magazine!

I got this amazing necklace at an African Shop on 125th Street. I am obsessed with this store and all their beautiful accessories.

When I came across this amazing skirt at Necessary Objects for only $21 I had to have it. I have been wanting a maxi skirt like this for awhile. Glad I finally can cross it off my list! I love pairing skirts like this or ankle length skirts with socks and heels. I think this trend is preppy yet chic!
What do you all think of the socks with heels look?
I saw it a lot on the runways during NYC Fashion Week. Let's thanks Mother Nature for warming NYC up to a boiling 52 degrees today and curse her for the 30 degree weather tomorrow...sigh.

Make sure to check out my closet I posted some great new items for sale

While at Fashion Night at the W Hotel I went shopping in the ultra chic W Boutique Store (On the 7th Floor), I bought a wonderful necklace and this awesome pair of Dolce Vita shorts. As soon I saw them I knew I could rock them with some tights and black boots and stripes. I saw the outfit flash in my head. The print is was really sucked me in to these gorgeous shorts. They are perfect staple for Late Winter, Spring and Summer!

I've seen a lot of mixing and matching whether it be florals and stripes, color blocking or mixing of patterns. I love stripes with just about anything, but this is my first attempt at mixing and matching. I loved how it turned out. Glad I also got to wear one of my new favorite pair of earrings from Mango.

Mango has awesome jewelry and its really affordable. Who would have thunk it? I didn't even know they had an online store until I had to hunt these earrings down.

So what do you all think of mixing prints and patterns?

Loving my Juicy bracelet and the MAC mascara Naughty and Nice is my new favorite mascara. This mascara works wonders. Run and get yours.
Today it was almost in the 50's weather wise and I think everyone in the city was thrilled. I got out and got my free Levis Jeans via the giftbag at IFB Conference and visited a few of my favorite thrift stores today. I have great info on some thift and vintage NYC stores. I will post tomorrow! It was nice not needing an extra heavy coat. I still can't wait for summer. Dear Summer...I miss you my love.
