i really needed a new little black dress. I have this one which is a bandage dress but I needed one that was less va-va-voom and more...sophisticated. I paired it with my new Linya Boutique 9 babies that I picked up at Century 21.

I love the movement of this dress and how the top portion is sheer (wearing a black bra underneath). Oh this new little purse is my latest purchase and obsession. Although I wont be able to fit a damn thing in it but a key and some lipstick...I am smitten with it.

For some reason I can see myself strolling the streets of Paris with this very tiny bag.

I love the LBD but i think the LWD had made its way into every fashionistas closet.

i'm not really a cape person but when I saw this Eileen Fisher cape at Saks I knew it would

be perfect for Fall and Winter.

This cape is one of my buys that I got when I won the Stylelist and Saks competition.

this cape is super soft and warm and the hood is an added bonus.

I like how the cape is long enough it can almost be worn like a dress so wearing the cutoff shorts underneath was my first thought. I told yall I wouldn't be putting away

 my cutoff shorts for Fall..lol

The weather has been really nice these past few days in NYC but I am HATING how HOT it is in my apartment. It's atleast 80 degrees thanks to the radiators killing me. I currently have all of my windows open and a fan blowing on me. Prime "GET YOU SICK" type of weather.

i finally got to break out my BCBG leather jacket that I got a few months ago at Nordstroms Rack. I also wore this jacket during my Marie Claire shoot.

i also got to dust off my Vera Wangs too see them worn differently here and here. these are my favorite pair of boots maily because they are so unique and comfortable. let me tell you the difference between a designer shoe and just any old shoe...you PAY for the COMFORT! these are the ONLY boots I have that i can wear ALL DAY without one foot or toe ache lol.
