Clearly I'm not over overalls and don't suspect I will be anytime soon. These babies will carry right into fall with an ankle boot and a trench coat.

Currently wearing as many summery shoes as possible before I have to pack my toes away for winter. Ahhh Winter..my least favorite season. Its too hard to look cute with a bubble coat.

le sigh. I had an awesome time in Paris but I'm so glad to be home.

 



t-shirt and jeans

on days like today...I want a no fuss look. here is a twist on the basic t-shirt and jeans. this top was a fashion STEELE from Loehmann's. It was on sale for a mere $12 and it's Rag & Bone! I paired it with my current favorite H&M distressed jeans and YSL pumps. Since it seems I wont be venturing out into the 16 degree weather I will be entertaining in the warmth of my apartment.

can't believe fashion week is right around the corner! i'm usually well prepared but I must admit I haven't picked out a single outfit lol. I have to get on my grind...this is definitely the calm before the storm.

Scandal

there is something quite scandalous about a thigh high boot. seriously sometimes when I wear them I feel like a modern day street walker thanks to the movie Pretty Woman. speaking of Scandal...I cannot wait until the new season debuts! its definitely one of the best shows on TV right now. But back to the boots, I love them nonetheless and they can also double as pant/leg warmers during the Winter months lol. These are quite warm and although pretty high, are actually easy to walk in.

this is my favorite comfy dress during the Fall and Winter months. see it worn differently here and here. it was one of my Fashion Steele's of the Week video post last year and its still going strong in my wardrobe. i've definitely tried to stop impulse buying and start buying things I can get at least 3 years wear out of. ohhhh and yay i finally got to rock my new quilted faux leather jacket!

i finally got to break out my BCBG leather jacket that I got a few months ago at Nordstroms Rack. I also wore this jacket during my Marie Claire shoot.

i also got to dust off my Vera Wangs too see them worn differently here and here. these are my favorite pair of boots maily because they are so unique and comfortable. let me tell you the difference between a designer shoe and just any old shoe...you PAY for the COMFORT! these are the ONLY boots I have that i can wear ALL DAY without one foot or toe ache lol.
