GLADIATOR in SANDALS

I have been wanting some tall gladiator sandals ever since I spotted these Stuart Weitzman gladiator sandals on Kate Moss in his new ads. Surely though I couldn't justify spending $400 on a flat sandal...especially the kind thats really trendy and probably wont trend more than a season or two. So when I saw Karen from WDUGT blog intagram these from Zara I quickly checked my Zara app on my iphone (yes its that serious) to see these. I was too late though...they had sold out of my size. Then on a whim I visited the Zara on 5th Avenue and as soon as I walked in there they were. 3 sizes left...one being my size. At 1/3rd the price of the Stuart Weitzmans! I'd call these a fashion STEELE for sure!

GET THE LOOK

took these photo's at the Brooklyn Bridge park. I never even knew there was a carousel there. its so old and beautiful and really reminded me of being a kid and longing to ride on the shiny horses. they were filming some kind of movie so we weren't allowed to get too close but it was still a very nostalgic and beautiful moment. floral blazer and a little lace

a few weeks back...i rounded the corner at Loehmanns and nearly had an orgasm.

yes. i spotted this floral blazer and knew my days of looking for the perfect overly floral piece for my wardrobe were over. i've been wanted to jump on this trend and have tried floral pants but lets just say i have runners legs and that was not a good look for me.

so with this blazer i will interpret this awesometastic trend.

paired with a little white lace dress of course.

yes...exactly what I wanted to achieve!
the power of flowers lives on trend after trend.
best thing about it is it has so many colors in it I can wear it as a neutral with just about everything...

military vest and bright blue shoes

finally got to wear my new blue beauties that I got from Elizabeth, shoe designer for L.A.M.B. and Charles Jourdan. as promised I paired them with something green. i just love this color combination green and blue. I'm also on the hunt for something burgundy and neon yellow. thats the new color combo...if you havent heard. lol.

the military trend is in full effect and i love it. especially since i am a die hard fan of the color green. i seriously went green crazy this past weekend picking up this top from Top Shop and this shirt and skirt from American Apparel. All of which are various shades of green. not to mention this military top i rocked a few post ago. my whole wardrobe will slowly turn green. anywho so i've been getting my outfits together for New York Fashion Week. Yes...i know its 2.5 months away but i can't help myself. i am in love with fashion and this blog and im not ashamed! but i just realized that the 5 outfits i put together all have green lol. i will be the green bean during fashion week. haha.
