decided to do a little of my favorite thing this past weekend..

THRIFTING!

and i got some majorly hot pieces that I am eager to share with you!

i hit up Beacon's Closet in Manhattan and this is what I scored.

needless today i am smitten with my purchases especially my Christian Dior skirt for less than $20. Fashion STEELE! Man I love thrifting. ohhh and if you didn't know...the drop waist dress is the next big thing! Top: Thrifted from Finderz Keepersz Vintage Boutique $10 fashion STEELE!

Cross Body Bag: Thrifted

Earrings: Vintage (thrifted)

Shoes: Jessica Simpson Dany Platform

These are the perfect shorts I have been looking for! I was too excited when I saw them in Urban Outfitters. I actually wanted just plain white ones but I actually really like the stripes. They are a very thick cute crochet material and I love love love them. I must really love them because they were $40. I usually don't spend that much on shorts but I really wanted these. The quality is great and I know they will last a few generations.

My other favorite thing about this outfit is the earrings that I got during my Thrift and the City

shopping tour.

This is also the second time I've worn this vintage top. See it worn differently HERE in one of my first outfit post.

 I feel to retro in the high waisted shorts and platforms.

PS. A little secret...these earrings are CLIP ON's..but I had to have them!

I wore this outfit a few weeks ago to church one Sunday. I got so many compliments on it. I really just kinda threw it together (minus the necklace because I just got that on the Thrift and the City Shopping Tour.

Really all the compliments had me blushing just like these H&M harem pants.

Well as much as I can blush..lol.

I've really gotten into the darker lip colors too. I think it works well paired with the pink pants. For some reason when I wear this lipstick I feel extra sophisticated...lol.

What about an outfit for you makes it more refined/polished/ or sophisticated?
