Pre IFB Conference Soiree

Let NYFW begin! I was invited to the Pre IFB Conference Soiree tonight at MOBar at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. I racked my brain about what to wear. Especially since ITS RAINING O_o and I will be meeting one of my favorite bloggers Nicole of Gary Pepper Vintage.

I went with this Motel Rocks multicolored dress that I kept coming across on websites such as Revolve Clothing and Nasty Gal. I'm really into bright colors and patterns so this fit the bill!

So sad its raining for the next few days but wont let it rain on my parade!

Rebecca Minkoff's Girls Night Out!

A few days ago I attended the Rebecca Minkoff Fall Presentation sponsored by Mintbox.com and had a BLAST! She makes the most lovely bags that are the perfect mix of naughty and nice. It was fun to check out the Fall Collection and also catch up with some of NYC's bloggers.

If you havent checked out Rebecca Minkoff online please do. Her Fall Preview Video is INSANITY. I think I want everything...I especially love the fur bag...ugh...must get that IMMEDIATELY. I've already planned outfits in my head around it.
There was also a hair station with Arrojo stylists giving Fall Hair tips and touchups. The drinks were delish and sponsored by Theater Bar NYC. There was this green grape concoction that had me floating on air...literally. hehe.

I love this necklace that Satya Jewelry sent me. They have gorgeous jewelry with meaning. I wear it when I want to feel extra special. The lotus embodies infinite potential and symbolizes renewal, transformation and new beginnings. The heart is the symbol of love and compassion. The Ruby is a stone of passion and brings spiritual health, wealth and wisdom....all of which I need! It flowed perfectly with this wine colored mini skirt I got at Forever 21. Ohh and I FINALLY got the Essie Polish Smokin Hot that I have been stalking the city for...YAY

The Art of Bob Mackie

This week I had the pleasure of attending The Art of Bob Mackie Event.
I've been in love with Bob Mackie for years and have a dress of his that is my favorite.

Bob Mackie is a legendary fashion and costume designer who just launched the first series of his fashion and costume illustrations. 

The illustrations are all so unique and inspiring.

 This was my outfit for the event. I think it was very fitting. I attended with a few members from the
NYC Fashion Bloggers Meetup Group. We had a great time learning more about Bob Mackie and getting to see all his illustrations up close and personal.

 This whole event was amazing it even better we got to sign up to receive our very own illustration.

The first series of reproductions consist of 46 illustrations, which are available in two sizes 

14 x 17 ($69 and 21 x25 $179) and are sold  matted and framed.
