Falls Latest "IT" Coat: The Trench

GET THE LOOK

Yes...we all drooled a little over Olivia Popes White Burberry Trench. Yes...it's just a coat. But I'll be damned if she didn't look fabulous in it and single handedly revived the white trench. This style of coat has actually been on the runways for most of the the last 4 Fall Runway Seasons. And some of the best streetstyle stars and televison scarletts have been rocking the trench from Kim Kardashians Paris Excursions to super blogger Miraslava Duma. I will be ordering the super long camel colored trench from ASOS asap and probably the grey one too.

Saks OFF 5th

Today I went to heaven...and by heaven I mean Paramus, New Jersey to the Saks OFF 5th Store. When I got the invite to experience the new saksoff5th.com website and visit the store...I jumped at the opportunity. Even though it meant a 6:30 a.m. wakeup call. It was well worth it. So today I boarded a bus with other fashion enthusiast and tastemakers and we were whisked over the George Washington Bridge and into New Jersey (where the magic outlets happen).
As of Monday September 30th, saksoff5th.com has been in full swing offering designer duds (think Rebecca Minkoff, Manolo Blahnik, Zac Posen, Nicholas Kirkwood), for up to 55% off YEAR ROUND!!! The site itself is a breeze to use with new arrivals added daily and FashionFix Flash Sales featuring a notable designer every 48 hours. Now that's fast designer fashion!
I suggest you take FULL advantage of the Saks OFF 5th More! Program. It's a free membership...yes FREE, in which you can get additional savings (on top of the already deeply discounted prices) in store and online. WOOT WOOT. I am already trying to work out how in the heck I can get back to New Jersey! At times like these I wish I had a car but at least I can still pick up these fabulous Stuart Weitzman Over the Knee boots I've been eyeing for 40% off online.
We were treated to a lovely breakfast and then given the go ahead to run wild and free in the Saks OFF 5th store. If the website gives you a clean, modern, easy to navigate feel than you will love the actual store. Of course I made a bee-line straight for the shoes.

You will die. I died a little and then came back to life when I tried on THEE "Woman's Right to Shoes" Manolo Blahnik's that Carrie Bradshaw wore and then lost (at a party because there were no shoes allowed) and then had her friend rebuy for her. It was my first time trying on Manolo's and they looked damned good and on sale too. I cannot deal.

Thus...my new favorite website for designer deals.... saksoff5th.com.
Check it out, you will NOT be disappointed.

t-shirt and jeans

 photo IMG_8304683x1024_zps69972998.jpg
i have a new and lazy way of dressing now and 70% of the time it involves a t-shirt. I've noticed that I don't have many shirts and tops compared to the number of jeans, dressing and skirts I own. It is massively disproportionate causing me to wear the same tops over and over with different bottoms. Currently its working for me. When I go shopping I hardly ever buy tops. Its a wonder my outfits don't consist of a bra and whatever else. This year I did do some shopping though and managed to buy 8 screen print tops. This is one from Zara that I scored on sale that's been in heavy rotation.

I don't know why I don't shop for tops as much as say...shoes or skirts or pocketbooks. I guess what makes the outfit for me is the shoe or the skirt or the accessory. Tops don't really matter as much and can get lost in the whole ensemble anyway. The two most extravagant tops I own both came from ASOS, this bejeweled crop top and this lavender sequin number. Both of which made the list on things I packed for  my Paris trip last month.
What's the one thing in your wardrobe you have the most of?
For me its definitely shoes...followed closely by skirts and dresses.

white out

 photo IMG_4442683x1024_zps7db94d9c.jpg
even though I don't get the chance to wear it often this white jumpsuit from Zara is one of the favorite pieces in my wardrobe. (speaking of which Zara is having a bomb sale!) Last week when the heat wave nearly killed us all it was a saving grace of an outfit for an event I attended. I don't wear it often because I'm the type of girl who can't keep something white...white! It's nearly impossible for me not to spill something when I wear white lol.

Also if you are based in Paris let me know if you wanna hang out. I'm always down to meet new people. Right now im packing because tomorrow evening im going to Atlantic City with some of my friends.
