i am a sucker for a good necklace. i used to be all about earrings....then i cut my hair...and now im all about necklaces. i swear this is the 2nd one i bought this month. see the other one here.

i like that its simple yet modern.

it would be the perfect touch on a neon yellow top like this one from Old Navy.

my FAVORITE jeans...so far..

Green is my favorite color followed closely by Grey. I was recently in H&M when I came across these perfect jeans in the coolest shade of green.

I scooped them up quick.

I am so in love with these jeans. For some reason I have been going crazy for bright colored jeans. Check out this deep purple pair I got a Loehmanns last summer.

H&M has really been on their game lately. I've been checking out blogs and what they are bringing for Spring and I just can't wait. Ohhh...finally got to take my Charles Jourdans for a spin. Super comfortable too.

I had been eyeing this statement necklace for months and finally found a great one at

 Accessories Palace in NYC (30th st and Bway) for just $20! Can't wait to incorporate it into every freaking outfit I wear. lol.

Neck Envy

It's funny because I never used to wear necklaces. But not that my hair is shorter I opt to wear bold necklaces in the place of earrings. I have had a new found love for statement necklaces over the past six months. The collection just keeps growing and growing. The above necklace I just got a few days ago at Aldo Shoes. When I saw it I almost died. I had to have it. A white necklace has been on my wish list for the longest and at $25 bucks...it was a fashion STEELE and totally worth it!

I get tons of compliments anytime I wear this Modern Tibet necklace I picked up at the Christmas Market at Union Square in December. I think it cost $35..I can't remember.

 This was the most expensive necklace. I think it cost $50 and it was on sale.

I also got this necklace for $5 during the Thrift and the City shopping tour.

This is one of my favorite rocker chic necklaces that I got from Forever 21 a few years ago.

There is something about this black stone that I love. It makes any outfit instantly glam. This was only $1 at Goodwill.

DYI Statement Necklace

I love my new necklace. I went into Michael's a few weeks ago and had a field day in there. They have everything a creative person could want! I plan on going back soon becasue I want to make a push pin inspiration board for my office. They have tons of beads and I loved these deep green wooden beads. I also found this pendant there for $2. In total the beads, pendant, string and closures cost me $16,

 fashion STEELE!

I've never made a necklace or any kind of jewelry before but I made this in under and hour. I was just so enthusiatic about it! I love the outcome...now just looking for the perfect time to wear it.

What do you all think? Do any of you make your own jewelry???
