Vintage Salvatore Ferragamo

on one of my Thrift and the City Shopping Tours earlier this year I came across this amazing silk printed wrap skirt. I instantly fell in love with the colors. To my surprise when I looked at the label it was Salvatore Ferragamo...for a whooping $12. I didn't think...i automatically walked to the register and the rest was history. I love when I find gems like this skirt during thrifting. Some of my better thrifted items are this vintage coach bag, this Marc Jacobs Dress and this See by Chloe Romper.

its so brutally hot outside I dont know what to do with myself. I hope you are all faring well in this soul sucking weather. Tonight I'm headed to Lucky Brand Denim's Offices to find the perfect fit of jeans. Super excited about it since I always have trouble finding brands/jeans that fit well...remember I posted about the best denim? Anywho, I have another one on one thrift tour this weekend and although I will try my best not to buy anything I know I will.

Bralet Top and Gladiator Sandals

Wow. Well Hello Hello Summer. These last two days have been super hot! I'm not complaining because I love hot weather! I'm still a southern girl at heart. So basically my plan was to wear as little as possible and this bralet top and vintage thrifted shorts fit the bill. I have been discovering all kinds of cool places in Manhattan lately. This shoot was done over an abandoned railroad track in Riverbank State Park. It's a pretty cool place. I want to do some more exploring of Central Park too because although I'm always there instagraming, I've yet to shoot there. Definitely in the works though.

GET INTO BRALET TOPS

 

Hope everyone had a happy hump day. I'm so excited because for once its not going to rain this weekend and will be hot and sunny! I plan on making a trek over to Williamsburg waterfront and check out the flea market and the food Smorgasborg with my boo. I also can't wait until they start the free NYC outdoor movie series too!

Florals are always in style

really...they are! this is a floral jacket I picked up at Loehmanns last year. Its still one of my favorites and I even use it as a formal business blazer for a little something extra. its a great way to dress up an otherwise boring outfit. in this case boyfriend jeans and a tee.

i actually wore this outfit with a different top to style an event a Loehmans last week. it really is one of my favorite stores for great designer deals. also im wearing my ultra favorite a. wang sandals! ughhh I love them so much. yes. I love my shoes and I am not ashamed.
