overalls..aint just for the country

being a southern girl at heart I am very fond of overalls.

i used to have so many pairs but of course they went out of style and I some how lost them all.

but now they are back and better than ever.

you can take the girl out of the south...but you can't take the south out of the girl.

here's to overalls...City Style.

im sure to be wearing them through the spring..even perhaps with the top flipped downward and a vintage belt. run now..they also have the shorts version of these overalls at H&M.

i feel like raking some leaves up or something...ahhh the lovely nostalgia of past southern experiences.

i could go for some sweet tea too....

So this is my second attempt at color blocking and I love the outcome. It's funny because in my

 First Color Blocking Post

I used the same colors...orange and green. I dont know what it is I just like the color combination. I have been waiting to wear these awesome Zara shorts. I actually wore them for the video I made for the Chanel Rouge Lipstick Contest. The cut is amazing and they arent too short that my butt cheeks hang out. I'm sorry but I have a butt and I dont like butt clevage!

For some reason I feel like Tom Cruise is Risky Business in this outfit...lol.

You all also get to see the scar on my right thigh. I got this while trying to iron a skirt (I was wearing) while in high school..and I ended up ironing my leg. Not a bright idea...haha. Oh to be young and dumb.

On another note...my Birthday is this weekend and I'm jetting to North Carolina tomorrow to see the family! Yay!

So glad I got to break out my favorite vintage skirt again! I love this skirt and plan to wear it all Spring long. I paired it with my favorite top from Forever 21. This has to be the most worn shirt in my wardrobe and only cost me $22 fashion STEELE!!! See it worn differently HERE at IFB Conference and

I also got to wear my new vintage faux fur bag that I got during the first Thrift and the City shopping tour I hosted. I topped the outfit off with one of my new purchases this white faux leather Vivienne Tam jacket from Loehmann's. Loehmann's is so on point with their inventory this season. I saw this jacket a few weeks back but finally got it after I got a 20% coupon...came up to about $36 fashion STEELE!

So I entered the Teen Vogue Rouge Coco Shine Lipstick contest today and chose "Rebelle" for my color. I love it. It's a nice bright orange red that feels more like a lipgloss in lipstick form.
