thrifted see by chloe romper

I scored this See by Chloe romper a few months ago during one of my Thrift and The City shopping tours. It clocked in a $20 and is one of my favorite thrift finds yet along with this dress and this necklace and purse. I visited the Brooklyn Flea recently and stocked up on some rings from Artist and Fleas and some Fish and Chips from my favorite vendor at the flea.

all thrifted outfit part I

so last weekend I enjoyed 2 full days of thrifting with a haul at Salvation Army in Harlem and a haul at Beacon's Closet in downtown Manhattan.  I scored some pretty awesome pieces for such fashion STEELE's. I decided to do an all thrifted outfit post mixing pieces from each thrift adventure. well not everything is thrifted but the clothing is...hey a girls gotta accessorize right?!

thrifting can be hella rewarding and fun! i love it when I find great pieces. i was drawn to this skirt because of the pleats and the color. i have a similar vintage skirt here. anywho this skirt came with this top that a rocked in last weeks post with an American Apparel skirt.

You name it...they got it.

The trick is to catch them during a seasonal sale (up to 50% off tag price) and then throw a coupon on top of that (they often give out 20-25% coupons on an almost weekly basis for club members)

Club members get 10% off every purchase for $25 a year.

It's TOTALLY effing WORTH IT!

Chelsea location is better for SHOES and has a slightly better collection of designers.

72nd Location has better PURSES and Swimwear.

This Forver 21 is the best one in the city, they get the good stuff and its easy to navigate and isn't a dump after being open for 2 hours.

Wear slide on shoes especially when going shoe shopping. So much easier than taking on and off shoes. TOM's shoes work perfect for shopping outings. Get them in Black, Grey or Red.

Whew..I'm tired. I think I went to all these places today. haha.

I did pick up a great pair of Nine West sandals from Century 21 for just $70!
