i have always been a huge DVF fan although i am just now at the point in my life where I can afford some of her lovely printed pieces. mainly thanks to Nordstroms Rack!

i was sold when i saw that this romper not only had pockets but slits on both sides that you wouldn't even notice unless the wind blows. i love the bright primary blue and thought that pairing it with my canarie yellow pumps from atleast 8 years ago would be the perfect combination. ps...i got this for less than $80 it was originally $495...fashion STEELE!

you can't go wrong with a printed dress

this is one of my favorite dresses...and I don't wear it enough!

I got it a year or so ago from Loehmanns and I wore it to the Pretty Girls Rock Dresses event

at the Tracy Reese boutique. I had such a great time meeting other fashionable ladies there.

anywho...it was time to pull this oldie but a goodie out and take her for a spin.

how i love love love to the fourth power my new shoes. they are sooooo comfortable too. dont tell anyone but I got them at Nordstroms Rack for 1/2 their original price. Fashion STEELE! i love shoes and can honestly say...i will be wearing these at least once a week. the neutral color goes with everything. since i'm still in my "i love anything printed and tribal phase" this dress let me express myself a little. but i still want some authentic Kente shirts. damnit i wish i knew how to sew.

a little sexy ankle ehhh

burgundy is def my new favorite Fall color. it's just so rich and sexy. I was on the hunt for a pair of burgundy booties and came across the perfect pair at Nordstroms Rack.

what I love most about them is the funky angle they hit my ankle at...quite sexy.

For some reason I am now obsessed with booties. They are a Fall MUST-HAVE!

So glad I found these burgundy ones too because I'm so into this color for Fall.

I love Fall...but I HATE WINTER.Ugh all those clothes. All that snow and cold wind, and having to sleep under a huge comforter...make me..well.... UNcomfortable.

I will be pairing these with skinny jeans and a boyfriend cardigan or dresses with opaque tights.

Can't believe its tight wearing season.

Goodbye Summer...till next year.

I finally found the perfect off white jeans. I've been craving a pair since a few summers ago when I saw Beyonce is a smoking hot skinny pair. I hate plain jeans. I need some excessive stitching, weird designs, ankle zippers and the like. These pants met all my qualifications as well as being only $27 after a 30% discount at Loehmann's. See more jeans I love here!

When my friend Sheena saw me in this outfit she said I look ready for the Hampton's. I wish! I'd rather be in an AC cooled mansion on the beach than in my hot box of an apartment. The drawback to NYC apartments is they rarely have central air conditioning. Which I'm used to being a southern girl. It's been a huge change but cold showers keep me from sticking to my comforter. Luckily today is a dreary rainy day so my Con Ed bill will be happy tonight when I can sleep with the window open instead of my AC.

I'm really actually thinking of visiting the hamptons. I've never been.

Finally got to wear the Steve Madden Platforms my mom got me for my birthday. They are super comfortable. This is one of my favorite new shirts. I love the baggy front pockets and the fell of it. It's so comfortable. I paired it with one of my favorite skirts from H&M. See it worn differently HERE!

While look for places to shoot these photos I cam across this neglected courtyard to an apartment building.

It was so overgrown but i loved the trees and the cobblestone and the ingrown weeds. It was very serene and quiet.

I wondered why the management had let is get into such a state. I plan to go back there and take more photos.

This past Sunday was my 27th Birthday and it was AWESOME!

I spent it with friends at one of my guilty pleasure restaurants Benihana.

I wore this Cynthia Steffe dress that I fought with another customer over on Bluefly.com

They had the last dress in my size in their cart but thank goodness they didn't buy it and I scooped it up..at

1 a.m.

Haha I was not kidding I really wanted this dress!

What have you gone through to get something you really wanted? 

I went to 15 Duane Reades in 4 days looking for Essie Smokin Hot Nail Polish and have yet to find it!
